This little cottage is Gretchen, she was made using a repurposed 4 ounce glass jar and hand sculpted polymer clay. She's a beautiful counterpart to Winifred, and another traditional fairytale mushroom. A bold red cap speckled with white dots and creamy pink gills shades her squat little frame. Off-white walls glitter ever so faintly with the memory of magic. From the cobblestone border at her base spring roaming leafy green vines that loop and swirl around her exploding with soft pink bouquets that add a touch of romance. A welcoming rustic door and dual arched windows were lovingly constructed with found fairy sticks and enchanted lashing and finished with beautifully ornate bright gold hinges, an Austrian crystal doorknob, and a gilded heart shaped peekaboo window.
Gretchen is a gorgeous piece of hand crafted art, ready to spread whimsy and joy to any space. However, if you would like to make her a lamp, optional LED bases are available for purchase.
